Journal of International Society for Science and Engineering (JISSE) is dedicated to rapid publication of the highest quality papers. Manuscripts in areas of engineering and sciences applications will be considered for publication. Registration and login are required to submit your manuscript online and to check the status of current submissions. To create a Username and Password for JISSE GO TO LOGIN. Manuscripts which exceed 20 pages limit will be accepted subject to the approval of the Editor-in-Chief. Manuscript should be submitted online for convenience and speed in MS-Word with a cover letter. The cover letter should give the authors preferred address, e-mail address; phone number. Each submission should include an informative abstract of no more than 200 words.

Before submission, manuscripts of Journal of International Society for Science and Engineering (JISSE) should be checked against the following criteria: 

  • The manuscript has not been previously published or sent elsewhere for consideration.
  • Follows aim and scope of the journal
  • Are clearly and correctly written in English
  • The manuscripts file is in MS-Word
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • Are delivered in electronic format.

Manuscripts should be written in English language either American or British but not a mix of both.

Paper Title

The title should be summarizing, instructive. It should include the title (font size 14, Time New Romans, double line centered and capitalization each word). Doesn’t exceed 12 words

Author names and affiliations

The first name should be in front of the family name. The author’s affiliation should be placed below the names, including (Work position, Address and e-mail address). Be centered beneath the title and typed in Times New Roman 11-point, non-italic and boldface. Every name is numbered superscript sequentially with a star symbol “*” for the corresponding author. Affiliation(s) should be shown below the author name(s) and typed in Times New Roman 10-point, italic and non-boldface. At least one e-mail address is needed for corresponding with the author.

Abstract

The Full manuscript should be abstracted in 200 words at maximum. The abstract should brief the idea of the research and most important results. The abstract should be typed in Times New Roman, 9-point, non-italic and non- boldface.

Keywords

Maximum of 6 keywords placed directly after the abstract avoiding common and plural terms. Separated by commas and should be typed in Times New Roman, 10-point, non-italic and non-boldface.

Sections, subsections

Sections and subsection should be numbered (i.e. 1. 2.…,  1.1, 1.1.1, 1.1.2; 1.2, etc.). The abstract, acknowledgment, references, glossary and appendix should not be numbered.

Headings and subheadings

Heading-1: should be typed in Times New Roman 10 (Bold) (i.e. 1. Introduction)

Main text

Type the main text in 10-point Times New Roman, single-spaced with single line spacing and fully justified right and left. Do not use double-spacing. The spacing after paragraph is double. Figure and table captions should be 9-point Times New Roman, boldface and non-italic. Initially capitalize only the first word of the caption. Figure captions are to be below the figures and Table titles are to be fully justified right and left above the table.

Tables

Table should be numbered sequentially in accordance with their appearance in the text. Place descriptions of tables below the table. Existing with metric units and mentioned in the text as (Table 1).

Figures and photos

Figures, photos, must be high quality that has a minimum resolution of 300 dpi (supplied in either vector art formats (TIFF, GIF, JPEG, etc.)). Should be included into the manuscript, numbered sequentially, captioned below the figures, existing with metric units and mentioned in the text as (Figure 1).

Acknowledgment

Acknowledgment should be placed after the main body and before the references

References

JISSE journal uses the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers) style citation system.

Example: J. Attapangittya, “Social studies in gibberish,” Quarterly Review of Doublespeak, vol. 20, no. 1, pp. 9-10, 2003.

Citation in the text                                            

Author should verify that every reference cited in the text also exists in the reference list and vice versa. Citations in the text should follow the American Psychological Association (APA) style.

Example paragraph with in-text citation:  A few researchers in the linguistics field have established practical activity programs planned to recover the native speaker’s ability to know accented speech [1]. Their training methods are built on the research defined above demonstrating that ability rallies with experience to non-native speech [2], [3], [ 4]. Joni et al. [5] conducted their exercise with students organizing to be social employees but note that other specialists who work with non-native speakers could profit from a similar program.

Article Processing Charges

Journal of International Society for Science and Engineering (JISSE) is an Open Access journal. Publishing an article in the Journal of International Society for Science and Engineering (JISSE) requires Article Processing Charges that will be billed to the submitting author following the acceptance of an article for publication. Apart from these Article Process Charges, there are no submission charges, page charges, or color charges. The fees to be paid following the acceptance of an article are indicated in the table below:
